A collection of extraordinary plates and engravings, including a view of Havana in 1855 by ED WILLMANN, the oldest known engraving of Havana by JACOB VAN MEURS, 1671, an ELIAS DURNFORD engraving of religious architecture from the 1760's, and a hand-illuminated engraving of Matanzas by the master EDUARDO LAPLANTE. These marvels of antiquity are among the oldest in the gallery's collection, and provide a priceless snapshot of a changing world.
