Acquired by a Private Collector in Coral Gables, Florida.
Works from this series were created using the “Direct
Casting” technique, an ancient and labor-intensive method
of bronze sculpture production that involves the creation
of a new clay mold for each edition. During the process of
casting, the mold is destroyed, and is re-created for each
subsequent sculpture. The resulting sculptures are all
unique in their details, and no image is repeated
identically.
