Cuban Modern and Contemporary Art: Inaugural Virtual Exhibition

Cernuda Arte is proud to be exhibiting eighteen exceptional paintings and drawings for our first-ever online show, Cuban Modern and Contemporary Art: Inaugural Virtual Exhibition. For this special occasion, we have assembled a diverse collection of impressive artworks from the 20th and 21st century, displayed for your enjoyment and consideration.

The addition of virtual exhibitions to complement our two physical gallery spaces had been designed and conceived to meet the demands of an increasingly global art market and clientele. Extraordinary circumstances currently impeding physical gatherings have fast-tracked these plans.

It is with great pleasure that we break grounds on the digital wing of our gallery with this impressive group show, Cuban Modern and Contemporary Art: Inaugural Virtual Exhibition, the maiden presentation in a permanent program of online expositions at Cernuda Arte.

Even as museums and like-minded institutions pause their traditional operations, interest in the arts are at an all-time high, as indicated by overwhelming remote attendance to virtual tours and symposiums, as well as record-breaking auctions. Indeed, the resilience of art cannot be overstated. It has accompanied us through history’s most precarious moments, guiding us towards meaning, understanding and appreciation. The times we are living in are no different-- these carefully curated works, ranging from metaphysical explorations to scenes of picaresque tranquility, are intended to celebrate and edify the human spirit. We look forward to continue finding new ways to come together to appreciate the exemplary achievements of our world-class artists.

This show will remain open from Wednesday, April 29, 2020 until Friday, May 29, 2020.

Most works in this exhibition are priced below. Gallery specialists are available to respond to any inquiries regarding the featured artworks by e-mail at cernudaarte@msn.com or by phone at 305 461-1050. Cernuda Arte is extending a seven-day unconditional return policy to acquisitions from virtual exhibitions. Financing is available upon request. All prices include frame, packaging, shipping costs, and transportation insurance. Taxes where applicable.
