Enrique Agramonte was born on July 27, 1971, in Guanabacoa, Havana, Cuba, where he studied. In his childhood, he visited the Napoleonic Museum, where he first manifested his vocation for painting.
In 1989, he continued his artistic training at the National School of Fine Arts, San Alejandro. He distinguishes himself intercollegiate and national competitions, and wins First Prize in Drawing in the intercollegiate contest of 1989. In addition, he is awarded the First Prize in the National Contest of Plastic Arts for Young Artists organized by the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) held in Havana in 1991. In 1994, he established his domicile in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The artist has since moved to Miami, Florida, where he currently lives and works.
